Scam Awareness

We have been made aware of a number of online scams fraudulently posing as AQUILA or claiming to sell our product, often at heavily discounted prices.

While we work with our partners to block and remove these sites and social media accounts, we urge you only purchase through aquila.com.au, or through one of our official stockists. This is the only way to guarantee that you have placed a genuine order. Unsure about whether you are shopping on the verified AQUILA website? Look out for these red flags:

  • Carefully check the URL. Scammers often use slightly misspelled or similar looking URLs. Please ensure the domain begins with https://aquila.com.au.

  • Beware of heavily discounted products. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Scammers often advertise AQUILA product up to 80% off the RRP.

  • Misleading social media advertising. Be cautious to click on social media ads that promote heavily discounted products on Facebook or Instagram. Official ads are run through our Facebook @AquilaEst1958 and Instagram @aquila_est1958

  • Shop direct or with our trusted sellers. Official AQUILA footwear and accessories are stocked on aquila.com.au, and through third party stockists, including Myer, The Iconic and David Jones. Please only shop with our trusted sellers.

If you see a fraudulent website or scam advertising, please report to online@aquila.com.au. It is helpful if you are able to share URLS and screenshots of any fraudulent activity you come across so we can work to take it down as quickly as possible.
