Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using http://www.aquila.com.au/ (Aquila Online), and/or any page accessible on this site, and/or by purchasing products, you agree to have accepted the following terms and conditions. Please take the time to read carefully before placing your order.

 

Placing your order

  • All orders are subject to availability of stock.
  • Unfortunately we may not always be able to fulfil your online purchase due to stock shortfalls. In the event that your item is unavailable, we will try and locate the item at one of our stores and deliver it to you. In this instance, there may be a shipping delay and you will be notified.
  • If your order cannot be filled, we will notify you via email within 3 business days and your credit card will be refunded.
  • Aquila reserves the right to refuse an order for any reason.
 

Payment

  • Aquila Online accepts the following credit cards and options as forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.
  • Prices listed and referred to on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
  • Purchases by New Zealand customers will not incur GST at checkout.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Online Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of payment in retail stores. They can only be redeemed online at www.aquila.com.au. Online Gift Cards are exempt from GST. To check your balance at anytime, click here.
  • Retail Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of payment for any online purchase. Please visit one of our retail stores to redeem these. Retail Gift Cards are exempt from GST.
 

Shipping & Delivery

  • Aquila Online offers free delivery to anywhere within Australia and New Zealand.
  • Aquila Online will ship each order to one nominated Shipping Address only.
  • Aquila Online orders will be processed on the next business day, pending stock availabilities.
  • All standard orders will be delivered using Australia Post's eParcel. It is recommended your preferred delivery address is a business address, as all orders will be delivered during normal business hours.
  • All Express Post orders will be processed within 48 hours of ordering and then delivered on a next day service to applicable postcodes.
  • Shipping advices will be emailed through to you with your unique Barcode which you can track online at http://auspost.com.au/track
  • All orders must be signed for upon delivery. If no one is available to accept delivery, Australia Post will leave a calling card and make the consignment available for collection from a nearby Australia Post outlet.
  • Standard delivery times are up to 7 business days for orders within Australia to major capital cities and 10 business days for regional areas. Please allow up to 14 business days within New Zealand. Aquila Online will make every effort to deliver your purchase on time, however we will not be held responsible for any shipping delays that are out of our control or during peak shopping times.
  • Aquila does not accept any liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
  • All orders shipped to New Zealand are subject to GST upon entering Customs.
International

Aquila Online offers delivery to anywhere within the following countries:

United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Philippines.

  • Shipping will be calculated on checkout and is based on Australia Post rates plus a $20 handling fee per subsequent item in one transaction.
  • 2 or more items purchased in one transaction will be shipped using the Express Post International service.
  • All orders shipped overseas are subject to GST upon entering Customs
  • Aquila Online will ship each order to one nominated Shipping Address only.
  • Aquila Online orders will be processed on the next business day, pending stock availabilities.
  • All orders will be delivered using Australia Post's pack and track or express post international. It is recommended your preferred delivery address is a business address, as all orders will be delivered during normal business hours.
  • Shipping advices will be emailed through to you with your unique Barcode which you can track online at http://auspost.com.au/track
  • Standard delivery times are up to 14 business days for international orders.
  • Aquila Online will make every effort to deliver your purchase on time, however we will not be held responsible for any shipping delays that are out of our control.
 

Returns and exchanges

Australian Customers In store returns and exchanges
  • Shoes purchased in store can only be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
  • You may choose to return your purchase for an exchange or refund at any Aquila Retail Store (excluding Aquila Clearance Outlets). Clothing, ties and cufflinks can only be returned via the online store or at Aquila Clothing Concept stores. Ensure you provide a copy of the invoice. Not all Aquila stores carry the same merchandise and may not have the style, size or colour you require in exchange. It is advised you contact the store beforehand. 
  • All returns must be accompanied with your invoice as proof of purchase (you may like to keep a copy for yourself).
  • Aquila takes no responsibility for any damaged or lost goods.
  • We will happily refund the cost of the goods if you change your mind, provided the goods are in their original condition.
  • Refunds will only be processed on the credit card used to make the original purchase.
Online returns and exchanges
  • For your convenience Aquila offers a free 30-day return policy on Australian online orders only.
  • To exchange an item for a different size or colour, or you want a different item, please return your original item to receive a refund. You can place a new order for the new item at any time.
  • To return your product to obtain a refund, please follow the steps below or you can return your purchase at one of our retail stores.
  • Check that the goods being returned are in their original condition and in their original packaging. Items from the clothing range must have the tags still attached. 
  • Follow the instructions on the Returns form that accompanied your purchase.
  • When purchasing online your package includes a reply paid sticker in case of returns.
  • Pack the goods and the Returns form into a postage bag along with the original invoice.
  • Attach the reply paid sticker.
  • Send the goods back to Aquila Online at our return address:
    Reply Paid 87209 Aquila Returns, P.O. Box 144, Abbotsford, Victoria, Australia, 3067.
  • Once we receive your parcel we will process your refund. All justified claims for refunds will be processed within 1 to 5 business days after receiving the goods.
  • PLEASE ENSURE A TRACKING STICKER IS USED TO PREVENT LOST ITEMS. TRACKING STICKERS ARE PROVIDED BY ALL AUSTRALIA POST OFFICES FOR FREE.
  • You may choose to return your purchase for an exchange, store credit or refund at any Aquila Retail Store (excluding Aquila Clearance Outlets). Ensure you provide a copy of the invoice. Not all Aquila stores carry the same merchandise and may not have the style, size or colour you require in exchange. It is advised you contact the store beforehand.
  • Aquila Online will not accept returns for any products purchased at any Aquila Retail Store or Aquila Clearance Outlet.
  • Aquila does not accept any liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. It is highly recommended that customers purchase a Registered Post sticker from Australia Post for a small fee for tracking purposes.
Customers Outside Australia
  • Aquila offers a 30-day return policy on International orders.
  • We will happily refund the cost of the goods if you change your mind, provided the goods are in their original condition.
  • To exchange an item for a different size or colour, or you want a different item, please return your original item to receive a refund. You can place a new order for the new item at any time.
  • Any returns for refund within the 30-day return policy period will be at the consumer's expense.
  • All returns must be accompanied with your invoice as proof of purchase (you may like to keep a copy for yourself).
  • Aquila takes no responsibility for any damaged or lost goods.

  • Please note that items can take up to 10 days to reach Aquila.
  • Aquila does not accept any liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. It is highly recommended that customers purchase postage tracking services from your local postage service for a small fee for tracking purposes.
Online Gift Cards
  • Items redeemed with an online gift card on www.aquila.com.au can be exchanged in-store for items of equal value only.
  • Refunds for items redeemed with an online gift card can only be processed by Aquila Online and not in-store. The refunded amount will be credited to the original online gift card account and not refundable for cash. To check your balance at anytime, click here.
Faulty Products
  • If you believe the item you purchased from Aquila Online is faulty, you may return the merchandise via post by following the steps listed above, or to any Aquila Retail Store.
  • Aquila Online does not guarantee that your claim for faulty goods will be accepted. We will need to assess the shoes first and if your claim is warranted, your shoes will be repaired, replaced or refunded. If we believe your claim to be false and the shoes have had fair wear and tear, the shoes will be returned at your expense.
  • You must provide proof of purchase for any claim of faulty goods.

Multi-buy returns / refund policy:

In addition to the terms and conditions outlined in Aquila’s standard returns policy – If the items purchased are part of a bundle or multi-buy offer, all items purchased within the offer must be returned to be considered for a refund / exchange.

 

Customer service policy

Aquila Online is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to ensure all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 2-10 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
 

Security policy

When purchasing from Aquila Online, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you – e.g carrying out credit and other security checks and for the purposes of customer research and profiling or where we have your consent to do so.
