Christmas Delivery Dates – Don’t Leave It Too Late!

Our delivery partner, Australia Post, is working as hard as always to deliver your orders as safely and quickly as possible. This Christmas however, deliveries could take longer as Australia Post manage the impacts of COVID-19 and more parcels than ever before.

Based on Australia Post guidelines we would recommend ordering by the below dates for delivery before Christmas:

Send Parcel Post by Saturday 5 December 2020.

Send Express Post by Saturday 12 December 2020.

By sending as early as you can, and by the dates advised above, your orders will have the best chance of arriving in time for Christmas.

 

Australia Post Update.

Due to a significant uplift in the number of parcels across the Australia Post network and a reduction in air freight capacity, Australia Post have advised that they are currently experiencing severe delays. These delays extend to both the time taken for tracking information to be provided, as well as the time taken for parcels to be delivered with Standard and Express Post services. For your convenience, Aquila offers both standard and express delivery within Australia, using Australia Post.

Please note the delivery time frames indicated below are estimates only, based on the stock being dispatched from our warehouse. If your order is coming from a store delivery times may vary, depending on both the store location and the intended destination. 

An increased volume of orders during busy sale and promotional periods may lead to delayed dispatch and delivery.

A signature is required when your order is delivered, so we recommend providing a delivery address where someone will be available during business hours to receive and sign for your order. If no one is available, Australia Post will leave a card advising you to collect your order from your local post office. Australia Post may present an option for Safe Drop – this is to be used at your own risk.

Please note, if you are purchasing more than one item, your items may be shipped separately using individual tracking numbers.

Shipping advices will be emailed through to you with your unique Barcode which you can track online at Australia Post. If you have any special requests for your delivery, please specify these at time of ordering.

Orders will be delivered on business days only. Please note, the number of business days estimated below begins the day after your order is dispatched. We do not offer deliveries on weekends or public holidays.

  • Express Post delivery is available for orders within a certain network location. Please click here to view the postcodes that qualify for Express Post delivery. If you live outside of these postcodes, selecting Express Post will result in the next fastest possible transport link. Goods may not be delivered the next day due to circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, strikes etc.
