Walking in My Shoes: Ryan Korban

A New York interior designer with an A list clientele and sex appeal that could rival Johnny Depp? Um... where do I sign up?

At 26 Ryan Korban needs no style tips. His unique approach to interior design has already seen a flurry of attention and his design ideas have sparked acclaim world-wide.

"I really feel like the interior world was making little effort to try new things." His work is based on taste not size with a focus on bridging the gap between luxury design and comfortable living. It was this mantra that has seen him work extensively with Alexander Wang (he recently just completed Wang's new shop on Mercer St in NYC) and celebrity it kids such as: Jessica Stam, James Franco, Vanessa Trainable & Natasha Poly. He also recently launched his e-commerce site, Edon Manor which we are total fans!

Aside from an impressive resume, this traditionally untrained stylist exudes the sort of effortless cool we all day-dream about. He boasts of his love for fashion, praising the industries ability to always be young, fresh and glamourous. All the things he "looks to achieve when creating a space."

Ryan Korban's edgy cool would be best paired with our Barlow. These zip-up ankle boots are simple, stylish and perfect for office or formal occasion wear.

Now we realise the life of RK is a daydream away, but we want to know what it's like to walk in your shoes. What are you thoughts on fashion, style and how do you manage this in everyday life? Send submissions to aquila1958@gmail.com because we'd love to feature your stories on our blog.
