Walking in My Shoes: Donald Draper

Donald Draper is the cool and commanding creative of the highly esteemed TV series, Mad Men. Haven't heard of it? Well, better late than never. Check it out! (http://www.amctv.com/shows/mad-men)
Don Draper inspired a resurgence of skinny ties and stamped the grey suit back on the map. Apart from his terrific fashion choices, Draper captivated viewers with his ability to seduce an audience. Be it in the advertising pen of his office at Sterling Cooper (or more recently Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce) or the bars & restaurants of Manhattan, Don Draper causes eyelash bating wherever he goes!
Let's be honest, we'd all love to possess the kind of mystique Don Drape brings to the table but would you want to walk in his shoes? Ok, maybe just for a day. Whether it's 1960 or 2011, walking in his shoes would be one of style, class and subtlety and Aquila has Don Draper's perfect companion; Mr Issac Black. Issac Black's intricate shoe design is sure to impress with lace-ups, a stitched leather sole and a European brogue design.
Do you have a way with people? A way with words? Or perhaps you enjoy stringing a skinny tie & striped shirt together? We're putting a call out to you, so we can learn what it's like to walk in your shoes. We'll be featuring your stories on our blog so send your submissions via email to walkinginmyshoes and we'll be in touch shortly.
